About the Artist
HIERAM is a Toronto-based artist who uses fashion and art as a way to share history. In addition to canvas paintings, HIERAM creates wearable art by hand painting upcycled clothing. His work can be found in the personal collections of luminaries such as Dave Chappelle, Lena Waithe, and Drake.
In 2023/24, a number of HIERAM's paintings were featured in Spike Lee's Creative Sources exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. He has collaborated with the Toronto Raptors & Toronto FC, and is also a member of Chuck D's creative collective MadUrgency.
